Software Engineer II, Backend (Collections)

Job Description
The Collections team, as part of the Repayments area, is on a mission to build a robust platform that will maximize the recovery of delinquent users by sending the right message to the right people at the right time, while monitoring and detecting problems and ensuring high reliability of the engineering systems.
Responsibilities
- - Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases
- - Collaborate with product management, design & analytics during the product development lifecycle
- - Create and monitor metrics to support operations and availability of team artifacts
- - Participate in on-call rotation as required
- - Engage in growth and development activities such as participation in the interview process
Required Skills
- - 2.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- - Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
- - Proficient in Python or Kotlin
- - Familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- - Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code
- - Strong verbal and written communication skills
