Job Description
The Consumer Payments team at Affirm owns systems handling billions of Dollars worth of transactions each year. You will work at scale to support the growth and expansion of Affirm's payments platform and wider business.
Responsibilities
- - Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases
- - Collaborate with product management, design & analytics
- - Create and monitor metrics for team’s artifacts
- - Support on-call efforts and operations
- - Engage in growth and development activities such as participation in the interview process
Required Skills
- - 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- - Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
- - Proficient in Python or Kotlin
- - Familiar with distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- - Strong verbal and written communication skills
