
Senior Software Engineer (Rust)

Job Description
We've raised Series B funding and reached 300+ million users worldwide, processing over 5 billion images annually and serving both small businesses and major enterprises like Amazon, DoorDash, and Decathlon through our mobile app, web platform, and API.
Responsibilities
- - Contribute to the cross-platform libraries powering Photoroom on iOS, Android, and the Web
- - Architect, develop, and deliver complex features used by in-house app developers
- - Own your work from A to Z: from specification and implementation to integration on the target platform
- - Work hand-in-hand with our product, web, and mobile teams to ensure a consistent Photoroom experience across all platforms
- - Contribute to our live collaboration platform (like Figma or Google Docs)
- - Work within a small multicultural team of ~120 passionate, friendly, and committed people
Required Skills
- - Proven experience developing software with Rust
- - Experience in C/C++ is also very much appreciated
- - Understanding of at least one higher-level language (e.g. Swift, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- - Experience delivering cross-platform client-side code that provides simple interfaces to handle complex tasks
- - Strong sense of ownership — take initiative and are comfortable making both product and technical decisions
- - Experience in a fast-growing start-up
- - Fluent in English (French is not required)
