As Senior Commercial Counsel, you will play a key role in advising our business and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts across our UK and European operations.

Responsibilities
- - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including client services contracts (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs), vendor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- - Provide clear, business-focused advice on UK and EU contract law and commercial best practices.
- - Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes.
- - Collaborate with operational, commercial, clinical and leadership teams to provide high quality, commercially-focused and pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of topics.
- - Advise generally on legal and regulatory requirements relevant to our business and services in the UK and EU, including GDPR, AI, advertising and marketing standards, and technology-related regulations.
Required Skills
- - Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with 5–10 years’ post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal role preferred.
- - Applicants qualified only in EU jurisdictions may be considered with compelling UK commercial experience.
- - Strong experience negotiating and drafting software/SaaS commercial contracts, license agreements, services agreements, technology agreements, vendor contracts, and other types of commercial agreements, especially with respect to the healthcare and health tech space.
- - Solid experience providing in-house legal advice in a fast-paced start up or scale up environment.
- - Ability to provide pragmatic, commercially minded solutions to legal issues.
- - Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities.
- - A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly-evolving start up environment.
- - Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
- - Proficiency in data security, data privacy and AI regulations are a plus.
- - Experience in the healthcare or health tech space is a plus.
