Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Design and implement high-performance, low-latency asynchronous FastAPI services and RESTful APIs.
• - Optimize PostgreSQL databases, including complex query tuning, indexing strategies, and connection pooling.
• - Containerize and deploy services to Azure Kubernetes Service using Docker and Helm charts.
• - Integrate and productionize AI/ML capabilities, including LLM Integration via LangChain and OpenAI APIs, leveraging Vector Databases and Azure AI Search.
• - Collaborate with Data Science and Frontend teams to define API contracts, integrate ML pipeline productionization, and deliver seamless user experiences.
• - Leverage GitHub Copilot or Cursor to accelerate development while ensuring high code quality.

Required Skills

• - 3-5+ years of backend development experience.
• - 2-3+ years of production Python/FastAPI experience.
• - Strong expertise with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Blob Storage, and Azure AI Search.
• - Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and PostgreSQL optimization.
• - Experience with Docker containerization and microservices architecture.
• - Fluency with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar).
