Overview
PostHog is hiring a Product Engineer to work on the Product Analytics team, focusing on building tools to help engineers and PMs understand customer usage.
Job Description
PostHog is an open-source platform that provides a suite of products for product and web analytics, session replay, feature flags, experiments, and more. It was created during Y Combinator's W20 cohort and has seen significant growth and adoption.
Responsibilities
- - Work full stack at the intersection of people and data
- - Develop and maintain the event tracking system
- - Integrate with data warehouses for BI tool capabilities
- - Build insights for data visualization without SQL
- - Collaborate with high-scale ingestion pipeline and ClickHouse teams
- - Solve scale challenges and leverage AI for insights
Required Skills
- - Full-stack experience with relevant technologies (Python or similar, React or similar)
- - Experience with big data is a bonus
- - Started a project from scratch or led a project
- - Strong communication skills
- - Ability to move fast and have a strong bias for impact
