Job Description
As an Account Manager at Customer.io, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers, serve as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities to expand value over time.
Responsibilities
- - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers, building strong, long-term relationships
- - Own renewals and retention strategy within your book of business
- - Identify expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities and partner with Sales to execute where appropriate
- - Monitor account health and key performance indicators, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
- - Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer goals and business outcomes
- - Coordinate with internal teams—including Customer Success, Support, Product, and Billing—to resolve questions and drive value
- - Maintain accurate account data and activity within CRM tools
- - Stay informed on Customer.io product updates and industry trends to better advise customers
Required Skills
- - 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role within a SaaS or technology environment
- - Experience managing renewals, retention, and revenue growth across an account portfolio
- - Comfort owning account strategy and identifying revenue opportunities independently
- - Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal
- - Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- - Comfort working in CRM systems and managing pipeline and account data accurately
- - Located in the United Kingdom or Ireland
